Markeim Arts Center’s exhibitions are coordinated by a committee of artists, collectors and arts administrators as part of the Myrtle Grace Stainrook Program for Exhibitions and Collecting.
To be considered for an exhibition, artists and groups should submit a proposal including images to Patricia Chamberlin, Artistic Director. The Center’s exhibition schedule for 2011 through June 2012 set. Planning for future exhibitions will take place in the spring 2012.
Call to Entries to Markeim Exhibitions
New Jersey Arts Educators October 12- October 28
Participants currently teaching in NJ schools can submit as many as 3 works for exhibition. A registration fee of $5 per piece should to be paid to Markeim Arts Center before October 8, 2011 along with a completed Exhibiting Artist Form.
- Digital Images: If you would like your work featured in publicity and media promotions, please forward a digital image of your work with your registration.
- Delivery of Art Work to Markeim Arts Center can be made Saturday, October 1, 1-3pm, Friday, October 7,2011, 11-4pm, and Saturday October 8, 11-3pm. If you chose to ship your work, please provide prepaid return labels.
- The Exhibition will open to the public on October 12, 2011 and an Artist Reception with food and music will take place on Friday, October 14 from 6:30pm-8:30pm
- Pick up of unsold works is Saturday, October 29 between 2pm- 5pm
