Refund Policies
Classes/Camps/Workshops
Cash refunds of tuition and materials (less a $15 processing fee) will be issued up to ONE WEEK prior to the semester start date. After that date, all refunds will be in the form of Art Center credits. Art Center credits are valid for one year from the date of issue.
A refund of 70% credit for tuition (less $15 processing fee) will be issued for withdrawals before the second class meeting. There will be NO REFUNDS issued for withdrawals after the second class meeting.
Exceptions to this policy may be granted only if we are able to fill your space, or in cases of documented family or medical emergency. Fees cannot be prorated due to planned absences, minor illnesses or vacation schedules. No refunds are given due to failure to attend class. If we cancel a class we will issue a full refund.
Membership
Membership is not refundable.
Artwork
Payment for Artwork is not refundable.
Exhibition Fees
Exhibition fees are not refundable.
Special Event tickets and registrations
Special Event tickets and registrations are not refundable.
Privacy Policy
This is the website of Markeim Arts Center. We will not willfully disclose any personally identifiable information about our online audience to any third party without first receiving the user’s permission. We do not collect personally identifiable information, including credit card information, from our visitors other than what is supplied to us on a voluntary basis. We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to outside parties. We may release account information when we believe that such release is necessary to comply with law. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our pages for each individual visitor, and not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
Should our site contain links to other sites, please be aware that Markeim Arts Center is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage users to read privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information.

By submitting orders to Markeim, you hereby grant Markeim full rights to copyright, exhibit and publish in any medium including, but not limited to, editorial, illustration, promotion, advertising, or internet all photographs taken by Markeim staff of students while participating in Markeim activities.

Markeim Arts Center helps protect personally identifiable information by using both online and offline security methods, including firewalls, passwords and restricted physical access to the places where your information is stored. Our staff members sign a Confidentiality Statement and are trained to observe our security procedures. All internal security procedures are regularly reviewed and revised, if necessary.
Any online page used to collect personally identifiable information employs industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. To provide your information securely, you must use an SSL-enabled browser such as Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later. The SSL Certificate protects the confidentiality of your personal information while it is transmitted over the Internet.
Website Logs
Data collected in our website logs are not personally identifiable and we make no attempt to link them with individuals that browse our site.
